Retaso: Of Salvage Stories & Articulated Clichés – A Solo Exhibition by Kidlat

Qube Gallery presents a rising artists series entitled Retaso : Of Salvage Stories & Articulated Clichés – A solo exhibition by Kidlat.

Kidlat was part of the, Heirs to the Throne exhibit of Qube Gallery last May 20 to June 8, 2015 at the Qube Gallery Crossroads Banilad. Eventhough he was an art school dropout, he still searched for ways to continue his passion for the arts. He did it by being one of the pioneers of art in the streets of Cebu, and together with his colleagues founded two major street art groups, Ubec Crew and the Junks Collective.

His works are conceptual, sophisticated and is aimed to reach out to all levels of society. His black and white street art gets its inspiration from his own experiences and observations of his environment.

Retaso : Of Salvage Stories & Articulated Clichés – A solo exhibition by Kidlat exhibit will run from July 30, 2015 to August 17, 2015. It is curated by Dennis ” Sio” Montera.

Qube Gallery is located at the Crossroads, Banilad, Cebu City.
