Fair Weather Seen in Most Parts of PHL Tuesday — PAGASA

Manila (PNA) — The public will experience fair weather with possible cloudy skies and occasional rain because of isolated thunderstorms due to the presence of the ridge of high pressure area (HPA) affecting Northern Luzon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Tuesday.

The HPA, which is the opposite of the low pressure area (LPA), is associated with light winds, less rainclouds, and drier air.

For Tuesday forecast, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms will prevail over the whole country.

It added light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and from the east over the rest of the country.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
