Malacañang has called on voters to register their biometrics data with the Commission on Election (Comelec) to exercise their right of suffrage in the coming 2016 national election.

According to Comelec there are still 3,893,095 voters who lack biometrics as of June 30, 2015. Comelec warned if voters failed to validate their biometrics, their records will be deactivated and they will not be able to vote next year.

(PCOO/PND)
