Davide Welcomes 5 New Hospital Chiefs, 20 Regular Medical Staff

Five doctors who served five district hospitals in the province as officers-in-charge were sworn in to regular positions by Gov. Hilario P. Davide III on July 14.

One new doctor and 19 other medics who were on contractual status also took their oaths.

Health and Social Services ranks second in the 6-Star Development Agenda of the governor under which Professionalization of Medical and Social Services is a priority.

The five chiefs of hospital are doctors Nerlinda Maraguinot (Badian District Hospital), Dr. James Nicholas Najarro (Bantayan DH), Abraham Maderazo (Daanbantayan DH), Ellen dela Cruz (Juan Dosado Memorial Hospital) and Renato Cairo (Oslob DH).

Dr. Wilson Anthony Egos is hired as Medical Officer IV and is assigned to the Provincial Health Office at the Capitol. Promoted to a level higher are doctors Zoraida Yurango and Jojie Padilla (Cebu Provincial Hospital-Bogo), and Mary Ann Laurel (CPH-Danao).

Sworn in to regular status were doctors Ricky Joy Tacaldo and Rusienne Mae Verano (CPH-Balamban), Rio dela Peña and Alimar Nassaie (CPH-Carcar), Evangeline Andeza, Marvin James Camen, Neriza Magbuo, Edilberto Dominguez and Mitzie Palma (CPH-Danao), Don Porferio Ferolin (Badian DH), Gimbert Escasinas (Barili DH), Jenina Lape (Daanbantayan DH), Francis Kim Capate (Oslob DH), Maria Luz Zenaida Agravante and Annessa Patindol (Jose Borromeo Memorial Hospital) and Abigail Amores (Ricardo Maningo MH).
