Ombudsman Visayas to Train Campus Integrity Crusaders
Iloilo City (PNA) — The office of the Ombudsman in Western Visayas is inviting interested student leaders to be part of its Campus Integrity Crusaders (CIC) in Iloilo City.
The CIC is a non-partisan school-based youth organization recognized by a secondary or a tertiary educational institution and duly accredited by the Office of the Ombudsman.
Philip Camiguing, Ombudsman Western Visayas acting director, said the training is open to all organizations in high school and college, both in private and public schools.
The one-day training and orientation to student leaders aims to cultivate the virtue of uprightness, responsibility, honesty, respect for authority, love of the country and instill a sense of good citizenship and responsible leadership.
“This training is for them because they will be the one to experience first-hand knowledge about graft and corruption and soon, they’ll lead our country,” he said. (PNA) FPV/AJP/CHRISTIAN NEY E. MONREAL-OJT/VLO
