(PNA) — Except in Northern Luzon, most parts of the country will continue to experience fair wearher on Monday, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

In an interview, PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

He said the low pressure area, the former tropical cyclone, was estimated based on all available data at 215 km northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (19.6°N, 119.2°E).

He said the LPA has a slim chance to re-intensify into tropical cyclone and expected to dissipate.

He added the LPA will bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms over the regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos.

In its advisory, PAGASA said moderate to occasionally strong winds coming from the southeast to east will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas. (PNA) FPV/CLTC
