Songs of Summer

22 Tango Records in coordination with Ayala Center Cebu presents Songs of Summer. The event is a weekly folk music fest that happens every Wednesday, from April 8, 15, 22, & 29 and then continues on May 6, 13, 20 and 27.

The event is a spin-off of 22 Tango Records’ pop-up music series Folk City, a musical movement of sort for singer-songwriters in Cebu since its conception in 2013. It was conceived by 22 Tango Records to create a space for local singer-songwriters to share their stories, express themselves, and celebrate the unique homegrown sound.

Songs of Summer will feature singer-songwriters and acts including Mother Folker, The Labrats, Womb, the Wonggoys, Vincent Eco, Jessica McYorker, Mary Anchit, My Dragon Eats Cat Food, Ella Melendez, and Three-Legged Men, among many others.

Event starts at 8pm at the roof garden of Ayala Center Cebu’s new wing.
