PAGASA: PHL Remains Storm Free Within the Next 3 Days
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Wednesday the country will remain storm-free in the next three days.
PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said the agency has not seen any weather disturbance near the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) that may develop into tropical cyclone within the next three days or until weekend.
Aurelio said so far the northeast monsoon continues to be the dominant weather system affecting Luzon.
For Wednesday forecast, PAGASA said Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and the Provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light rains while the regions of Ilocos and Bicol will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains. Caraga and Northern Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with light rains and isolated thunderstorms.
The rest of the country including Metro Manila will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
The temeperature in Metro Manila will range 23-32 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
The state-run weather bureau also issued gale warning as the sea condition will be moderate to rough and is expected to affect the seaboard of Northern Luzon.
”Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves,” it warned.
PAGASA also said moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas. (PNA) LGI/CLTC
