The International Academy of Film and Television Cebu invites us all this Saturday, 28th February 2015 at 1pm to 5pm for the, “The Mystery and Design of the Art Department” – A Production Design Workshop with Emmy award winner Michael David Crenshaw at IAFT Cebu.

This workshop we will be dissecting the inner workings of a feature film art department and de-mystify the names and positions of a credit list. The workshop will cover sub departments, work flow and how it all comes together.

The audience is asked to observe examples of art direction from many different media sources and talk about framing and composition. Attendees will then work together in small groups to break down a script for an art department, and analyze the scene from a visual perspective.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a much better grasp of how art direction and design plays into visual arts, commercial and entertainment media.
