Tail End of Cold Front to Bring Rains Over E. Visayas, Caraga Region – PAGASA
(PNA) — Cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers continues to affect Eastern Visayas and the Caraga Region in the next two to three days.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weather forecaster Shaira Ann Nonot said Tuesday the tail-end of a cold front continues to affect Eastern Visayas.
The tail-end of a cold front is the front boundary of two air masses, which produces clouds and rain.
Nonot said the northeast monsoon will affect Luzon including Metro Manila. These areas will experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
She added that the country will continue to be storm-free for the next two to three days as there is no weather disturbance seen near the Philippine area of responsibility that can develop into a tropical cyclone.
Meanwhile, Nonot said the weather bureau already lifted the gale warning as the surge of the northeast monsoon has weakened. As such, sea travel will be safe for fisherfolk and small seacraft.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains, while rest of Visayas and of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over the whole archipelago with moderate to rough seas. (PNA) FPV/LGI/CLTC
