Julie’s Bakeshop Supported Cebu’s Devotee City 2015
In celebration of this year’s Sinulog Festival, Julie’s Bakeshop joined the city government’s advocacy of providing home, fun, and comfort to the devotees from different places, coming to Cebu City every January to pay homage to Sto. Niño.
The formal opening of the Devotee City happened last January 16, 2015, at the Compania Maritima, Cebu South Coastal Road, Cebu City. Julie’s Bakeshop brought its ‘Tita Julie Mascot’ to provide entertainment to the devotees.
In January 17, 2015, Julie’s distributed its bread products, Choco, and Kape to thousands of devotees during its feeding activity at around 4:00 AM. In the afternoon at 5:00 PM of the same day, a variety show sponsored by Julie’s Bakeshop entertained all the Sinulog devotees inside the Devotee City.
Meanwhile, Julie’s also paraded its float last Sunday, January 18, 2015.
Over the years, Julie’s has been actively involved in the Devotee City as its unceasing commitment of giving back to the Filipino community in accordance to its corporate mission of “Feeding People”.
The company has been intensifying its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program by engaging to different feeding activities, through its own initiatives and in partnerships with the local government units (LGUs) as well as with other non-profit organizations across the country.
