Pag-IBIG Housing Loan Now P6 Million

The Home Development Mutual Fund or Pag-IBIG Fund has expanded the housing loanable amount for its members from P3 million to P6 million.

This was announced on Thursday by Vice President Victoria B. dela Peña, Member Services Branch Operations for Visayas and Mindanao, during the special Kapihan sa PIA.

Held at the Pag-IBIG Fund office at WT Corporate Tower, Cebu Business Park, Cebu City, Dela Peña said the loanable amount increase effective next year is a sign of a significant progress of Pag-IBIG Fund in general.

Dela Peña who invited all of its members to avail this offer said the Pag-IBIG board has approved this expanded loanable amount as part of their 34th year celebration this coming December 14, 2014.

“The offer is good for any member who want to settle themselves in a condominium unit who needs millions of pesos for investment,” Dela Peña said.

The same process is needed with an ordinary housing loan applications where proper screening on the part of the applicants is necessary before the loan is granted, according to Dela Peña.

Meanwhile, Dela Peña also thankful to the infrastructure developers who in one way or another helped a lot in improving their services to Pag-IBIG clientiel members.

“I wish our developers will not only move for their own success but also for Pag-IBIG and all its members,” she said.

This can be gleaned through the quality of the housing materials used by the developers in any project location given to them by Pag-IBIG.

Dela Peña also said the Pag-IBIG Fund is not only offering housing loans but also have some other loans.

“We have multi-purpose cash loans and calamity loans, especially in calamity stricken areas with a very affordable interest rates for the benefit of our members,” she said.

Dela Peña said the Pag-IBIG Fund progress is a transparent sign of good management, supervision and leadership of the state’s housing agency.

“So every year end, after our evaluation, we must be thankful to our Pag-IBIG officials and above all, to all members of this agency who in one way or another contribute for its success”, Dela Peña said.
