Just In: Magnitude 3.7 Earthquake Felt In Cebu

A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was felt at around 9:20 am today in Cebu. Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) identified the location of the earthquake at 10.63°N, 124.28°E – 050 km N 49° E of Mandaue City (Cebu) with a depth of focus at 022 km.

Phivolcs said the origin of the jolt is Tectonic with reported intensities at:

Intensity IV – Cebu City; Mandaue City
Intensity II – Lapu-lapu City
Intensity I – Bogo City; Ormoc City
