ITCZ, Amihan to Bring Rain Over Mindanao, North Luzon – PAGASA

The inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and the Northeast Monsoon may bring rain to parts of Mindanao and northern Luzon on Friday, PAGASA said.

PAGASA said the ITCZ is affecting Mindanao while the Northeast Monsoon is affecting northern Luzon. It added that Davao and Soccsksargen may have cloudy skies and light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms while Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with isolated rain.

It added that Metro Manila will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

Temperatures are likely to go down in the coming weeks as the Northeast Monsoon gains strength, it said.

PAGASA said the cool weather from the Northeast Monsoon is associated with the Christmas season.
