OBJECTIVE OF THE RACE:

• Promote tourism adventure destination within Cebu City’s hillyland barangays.
• Advertise the beautiful ecotourism spots in the hillyland of Cebu City.
• Increase and boost the Tourism Income. (not only for the event but for the future)
• Promote the sport, trail running.

RACE DESCRIPTION:

Trail running is a variant on running that differs markedly from road running and track running. Trail running generally takes place on hiking trails, most often in mountainous terrain, where there can be much larger ascents and descents and commonly single track trails. The trails tend to traverse varying terrain; hills, mountains, rivers, forests, and narrow passages are common. Runners often cite less impact stress compared to road running, as well as the landscape and non-urban environment, as primary reasons for preferring trail running. This move to nature is also reflected in a large increase in competitors in non-traditional/off-road triathlons and adventure racing.

THE RACE VENUE: Brgy. Binaliw to Brgy. Agsungot to Brgy. Guba Cebu City and VICE VERSA.
