To provide not only the highest quality products of motorbikes and excellent services, but also a concern for those who are in need, Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. extends help in rehabilitating classroom in Calambua Integrated High School in San Remegio, Cebu.

Yamaha participated in completing the room’s repainting job, providing new windows and doors.

Also, during the turnover ceremony, the brand has given away school supplies and bags to 200 pupils and students of the school.

As a symbol of commitment to the future of the pupils of Calambua, Yamaha unveiled a plaque that will be placed on the classroom walls to commemorate the event.

By chance, Yamaha found the school after they went to Calambua for site inspection as part of their preparation for their fifth leg of the 2014 MS Motorsuit Motocross Series which is slated in the place.

According to the Yamaha Sales and Marketing manager Kaoru Ogura, he noticed that the school has unfurnished classroom, no windows and doors. He immediately talked to the school principal and offered them help to rehabilitate their classroom through Yamaha campaign.

All this starts with the “Yamaha Lends a hand Campaign” which focuses on helping those affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda. Yamaha also sets plans to build day care centers and donate water tanks in Ormoc and in other places left with a trail of devastation of last year’s super typhoon.
