CCCI Turned Over Another Set of Industrial Sewing Machines
The Bangon SugBohol Movement through its lead convenor – the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) turned over another set of Industrial sewing machines to two beneficiary groups last September 3, 2014 at Loboc Eco-Adventure Park, Loboc, Bohol.
CCCI President Ma. Teresa Chan along with Felix Taguiam, Chairman of the Disaster Risk Reduction Committee of the chamber and Executive Director May Ybañez led the turnover ceremony.
Four industrial sewing machines were turned over to two beneficiary groups of micro-entrepreneurs from Loboc, Bohol namely the Bahian Rural Improvement Club and Bohol Tarsier Souvenir Shop. Moreover, a solar panel unit was also given to DTI Bohol.
The turnover ceremony was attended by Mayor Helen Alaba of Loboc,Mr. Isabelito Tongco (Head- External Affairs Office of Gov. Chatto), DTI Bohol Division Chief Marisol Balistoyand the officials of the Municipality of Loboc.
Prior to the turnover ceremony, CCCI officials paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Roberto Tabanera of Cortes, Bohol and Mayor LeoncioEvasco, Jr. of Maribojoc to discuss possible livelihood assistance the chamber can offer.
