SAD LESSON

This house in sitio Mamerto, Barangay Sta. Cruz was burned down by a fire at five pm yesterday. No one was hurt but Fuente police precinct chief, Insp. Wildermar Tiu, said the fire should serve as a lesson to house owners who converted the same into a boarding house.

He said the owner of the house should declare to the barangay whether his house is purely for his own or a boarding house. He added that if the house is declared as a boarding house, owners should have fire insurance to ease any burden on the boarders in sad cases like this.
