Cebu ICT/BPM Industry Focuses on New Wave of BPM Players this Year

Industry stakeholders, technopreneurs and businessmen are invited to join the 2014 Cebu Information and Communication Technology/Business Process Management (ICT/BPM) Conference and Expo on June 2 to 3, 2014 at Marco Polo Plaza Hotel.

The two-day event will gather top executives of the ICT and BPM industry, ICT leaders, support groups and stakeholders from the government, academe, ICT Councils, and other institutions.

This year’s conference will address issues and trends in the ICT and BPM industry and present opportunities and data from established and emerging ICT & BPM hubs. Challenges that may arise from the ASEAN Integration in 2015 and its possible impact on the ICT/BPM Industry will also be discussed.

Along with the conference is an exposition, which serves as a venue for suppliers and service providers, to showcase their products, services and its support ecosystem, making the event more exciting and worth attending.

Registration includes meals at the plenary session, entry to the Expo Hall, Conference Kit, and a chance to win in the raffles.

On the first day, DTI Undersecretary Hon. Nora Terrado will give her Keynote Address. Other speakers of note include Franco Eisma of Amazon Web Services who will tackle “The Future Apps Economy of ASEAN”; ABS-CBN Chief Digital Officer Dr. Donald Lim who will speak about “Using Social Media for Business Decisions”; DOST Regional Director- Reg. IVA Smarter Philippines Program Lead Dr. Alexander Madrigal who will talk on “Smarter Philippines Report”, IBPAP President and CEO Jomari Mercado who will do the IBPAP Report; and Manulife Business Processing Services VP & General Manager Gigi Mantaring will present the HIIM-BPM: High Growth Sector.

The second day will recap the activities of Day 1 with a discussion on “Re-defining management of data growth and compliance”, “The Global Startup Report”, “The ASEAN Startup Scene”, “Shared Services Success with Lexmark”, and many more.

Cebu ICT/BPM Conference and Expo is one of the major events in line with the CBM 2014 Activities organized by the CCCI.
