●CIDG7 received reports that some customers of Eddie Gian are members of robbery groups in Cebu and other parts of the region

The operatives of the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) last Wednesday seized 28 assorted types of homemade firearms following the raid of a clandestine gunshop in Barangay Suba, Danao City.

However, gunsmith identified as Eddie Gian managed to escape before the police team headed by Inspector Reydian Corales swooped down on a shanty at shortly before noontime.

Inspector Corales said Gian is one of the bigtime illegal gun makers in Danao City and the CIDG received reports that some of his customers are the members of the robbery groups in Cebu and other parts of the region.

Seized from Gian’s makeshift shop includes a KG9 machine pistol, five 45 caliber pistols, one 380 pistol, four 357 Magnum revolvers, 10 pieces of 38 caliber revolvers, two pieces of 9 milimeter pistols, five 22 caliber revolvers and several magazines of different types of firearms.
