Bohol Still Looking for Relocation Sites for Quake Victims
Officials in Bohol province are still looking for relocation sites where they can transfer affected residents five months after a magnitude-7.2 quake hit the province last October.
Report said Clarin town Mayor Allen Piezas is still arranging for relocation sites, saying he is arranging for Buacao and another site for the quake victims.
But the mayor added said towns have no funds for resettlement lots, report said. It added the mayor is now arranging a term with the Bohol provincial local government to have National Housing Authority (NHA) funds to buy lots.
The quake was one of the major disasters that hit Visayas in October last year.
