Trend Savvy Sunglasses Available Now

Sunnies by Charlie is available now in Cebu! A trend savvy sunglass destination, which offers curated eyewear with UV protection at affordable prices, is the new stop to shop when it comes to fashionable, stylistic eye-wearables.

It opened last Feb. 22 at the North Wing of SM City Cebu with the owners themselves; one of them is the most recognized faces and social media authorities in the Philippines Georgina Wilson. Buyers and fans didn’t only get to take home their favorite Sunnies shades but also got that memorable photo taken with them and Georgina.

Sunnies is a collaborative effort between four friends, the owners and the team behind the brand which include Eric Dee, Jr., Bea Soriano, Martine Cajucon and Georgina. It was founded in 2013 in response to the need for quality eyewear at lower costs. Sunnies by Charlie is an independent eyewear and lifestyle brand based in Manila, and which targets to open six other outlets this year nationwide.

Currently, Sunnies carries over 150 styles that come with new pieces consistently available bi-monthly. These can be purchased over at zalora.com/sunniesbycharlie, Sunny Stations, and Sunnies Shoppe, or any of the five Charlie stores.

Prices range from P299 to 799, with the latter as its premium collection. It also has collections for kids which is pegged at P249. Among the Sunnies styles available are The Clara, The Brady and The Bianca at P499 each, The Jones at P399, and The Quincy at P599, to name a few.

“I am seen having a sophisticated, glamorous image but I’m just the laid-back, carefree type. That’s what Sunnies is all about,” Georgina quipped when asked how the eyewear brand identifies with her. Georgina is Sunnies’ director of marketing, while Bea is the operations director. Eric, with a successful family business (Mesa, Kai and Cerveseria) is the finance director, while Martine is the creative director having that acumen for the creatives being a former head creative for international basics brand.

Sunnies by Charlie has been featured in several print and online magazines such as MEG and PEP.PH in December 2013, Metro Magazine in this month’s issue and STYLE BIBLE.PH last month. It has also gained a following of some of the country’s top and most celebrated personalities namely sisters Anne and Jasmine Curtis, Laureen Uy, Solenn Heussaff, Isabel Daza, Julia Barretto, Maxene Magalona, Bianca King and Mond Gutierrez to name a few.
