Miss UP Cebu 2014 Slated

One of the most anticipated university pageants in Cebu City is coming this February! Miss UP Cebu 2014 is ready to crown the next “Iska” who will best embody the values and ideals of the modern-day Filipina.

With the theme “Beauty at work for the nation’s rebirth”, this year’s pageant will showcase local arts and highlight the resilient Filipino spirit and sense of community in the aftermath of the recent national tragedy–a mark of always striving to push the envelope.

Ten lovely candidates from the University of the Philippines Cebu will vie for the prestigious title.

Helmed by Rabbit Hole Productions comprised of third-year Mass Communication students, in partnership with the Communicators of UP-Cebu (COMM-UP), Miss UP Cebu 2014 marks another year of the advocacy-driven pageant, which counts Mia Zeeba Ali Faridoon (Miss Cebu 2011) and Cheriemel Diane Muego (Miss Cebu 2014) as some of its famous alums.

Catch the spectacle on February 13, 2014, 7 p.m. at the Mariner’s Court-Cebu Convention Hall. Tickets will be sold on the pre-pageant night this February 7, 2014 at the UP Cebu High School Open stage.
