SSS Releases UMID Cards in 10 Days

Processing of Social Security System(SSS) identification cards to all its members who are applying this, is now reduced to 10 days under the Unified Multi-Purpose Identification (UMID) System.

Elvira Bongosa of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA-7) yesterday said that the SSS management is anticipating to process at least 3 millions of SSS IDs for its members.

Bongosa added that the 10-day processing will start immediately on the date of filing the application until the Philippine Postal Corporation will release it under the UMID card package.

Bongosa also advised all SSS members who have already applied and waiting for the release of their UMID cards to see this at the SSS website www.sss.gov.ph.
