God’s Guidance

“Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.” Psalm 25:12

“For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Philippians 2:13

In this dark and noisy world, we often want to hear God’s voice lead us into a decision that is rightful for us or, that is wise. However, we easily get distracted from what the world has to offer and there are times that we detour (from the plan God has for us). Praying for the desire to seek God’s guidance and then following it is one way to trod on the righteous path. He is omnipotent (all-knowing) and thus, knows what’s ahead and best for us. When yearning for God’s guidance, we can make decisions that please Him. You see, God does not play games with us hence, wants to give us guidance and not hide His will from us.

Let us ask for His help and then learn to hear Him when He speaks.

“Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.” Proverbs 4:5

“In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:6
