Responding to Jesus

What should our response be to Jesus, that He lived with us?

“They entered the house and saw the child…and they bowed and worshiped him.” Matthew 2:11

The astrologers traveled thousands of miles to see the king of the Jews. When they finally found Him, they responded with joy, worship, and gifts. How different from the approach we often take today! We expect God to come looking for us, explain Himself, prove who He is, and give us gifts. Those who are wise still seek Jesus because He is unlike any other person and He was sent for a special purpose. DO you really know who He is? What gift can you give back to Jesus, who gave His life for you?

“Look! Here I stand at the door and knock. If you hear me calling and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal as friends.” Revelation 3:20
