Christmas Village of Hope

SM City Cebu’s CHRISTMAS celebration won’t be complete without the chance to give back to our less fortunate brethren. With this, we would like to invite you to take part in the CHRISTMAS VILLAGE OF HOPE by adopting/sponsoring houses to benefit children with cancer.

THE STORY
Through the years, Clayton & Joji Tugonon’s collection of miniature Christmas Village houses quietly grew. Three years ago, the couple decided to share their collection with the public and at the same time, use it to raise funds for indigent children with cancer under Kythe Inc., a non-government organization based in Manila, Philippines. The donations are used to fund the chemotherapy of Cebu-based children with cancer who are patients/outpatients in Perpetual Succour Hospital.

WHERE THE FUNDS GO
·OPD: Laboratory Procedures
·OPD: Imaging procedures – CT Scan, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound
·MEDICINES: Chemotherapy medicines for all types of cancer; Non-chemotherapy medicines: During infection (Antibiotics); Supportive Medicine: GCSF, Erythropeotin
·KYTHE-SPONSORED CELEBRATE LIFE PARTIES: Simala Trip, Kite Flying, Granting Wishes (Together with other sponsors)
·KYTHE CHILD LIFE PROGRAM ACTIVITIES: Playroom, Bedside, Integrated Reading Program, Books and Art Materials

OUR OBJECTIVE
·To promote cancer awareness to the general public.
·To make people aware that cancer can strike anyone including yourself and your loved ones
·To be able to help others who don’t know where to turn to when cancers strikes their families.

OUR GOAL
To be able to raise more funds to sustain the needs of each child’s treatment
Note: Each child needs at least P5,000.00/month/treatment. This does not include any additional treatment needed if they get an infection.

HOW TO DONATE
Each of the houses are up for adoption for the duration of the Christmas season.
Cost per House = P5,000.00
Cost per Train/Carriage = P20,000.00

·View the different photos in the Photo Albums.
·Leave a message below the photo so it will be marked/reserved for you.
·Payment can be made to representatives of Kythe who will be stationed at the Christmas Village of Hope display. Please make out the check to KYTHE INC.
·Your name will be displayed on your house/train/carriage.
.Please reserve and pay early to ensure you get the house of your choice.
