Moonwalk 2013 Shirts for Sale

Show your support to the fight against breast cancer with pink statement shirts of the 10th Moonwalk: A Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Each shirt is sold at P199 each. There are three designs for women, three for men, and two for kids. You can view them at rafi.org.ph/gallery/moonwalk-shirts

Women can choose designs with the following statements: “I am a breast cancer warrior”, “These packages are regularly checked”, and “What you don’t know will kill you. Have your breast regularly checked”.

While men can express their commitment to the advocacy of saving more lives with shirts saying “Make self breast examination your breast friend”, “I’m your breast man”, and “I’m you breast buddy”.

Children can model awareness and active participation with “My favorite color is pink” and “I love the women in my family and community” printed on kids’ shirts.

Moonwalk: A Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness is a unique collective advocacy campaign focused on early screening and detection of breast cancer through monthly breast self-examination and mammography, especially for women aged 20 and beyond.

 Last year, 3,000 people from various sectors of the Cebuano community supported the annual advocacy walk held every full moon of October in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is in its tenth run this year.

The Eduardo J. Aboitiz Cancer Center (EJACC) of RAFI once again calls on the public to take part in this massive awareness campaign, which this year highlights a walk from Fuente Osmeña Circle to Plaza Independecia on Oct. 19.

Assembly time is at 5 p.m. at Fuente Osmeña Circle, while the walk starts at 6 p.m. after a very brief program.

The walk will be capped with a show featuring Cebuano bands and performers.

The event is organized by RAFI-EJACC in partnership with Cebu City Government and Task Force Cancer of Cebu City. It is also supported by Cebu Cancer Fight Inc., I CAN SERVE Foundation, She Matters, and CAN with GOD.
