As Cebu bursts into color and rhythm for Sinulog 2026, UNIQLO marks a decade of LifeWear in the Queen City with a celebration stitched with gratitude, style, and community care. From January 16 to 22, UNIQLO Cebu stores are offering exclusive discounts, heartfelt initiatives, and a locally inspired UTme! collection that honors Cebu’s vibrant culture.

A Humble Beginning: From 8 Employees to a Cebuano Staple

UNIQLO’s journey in Cebu began with its first store at SM City Cebu, launched with just eight dedicated employees. What started as a modest team has grown into a multi-branch presence across the city, becoming a beloved brand that blends global quality with local heart.

UTme! Cebu: Wear Your Sinulog Story

To say “Daghang Salamat” for a decade of support, UNIQLO is launching an exclusive UTme! Collection on January 12. Designed by Cebu-based painter and illustrator Meream Pacayra, the collection features vibrant graphics inspired by everyday Cebuano slang and iconic Sinulog scenes. Customers can personalize T-shirts and tote bags using in-store tablets, mixing images, typography, paint, and character stickers to create their own wearable art. Prices start at ₱990 for adult T-shirts, ₱590 for kids’ T-shirts, and ₱990 for tote bags.

Cebu-Exclusive Offers and Sinulog Style Picks

From January 16 to 22, shoppers can take advantage of limited-time discounts on some of UNIQLO’s most popular pieces. The Uniqlo U Crew Neck T-Shirts are available at ₱390, down from ₱590, while the Dry Color Crew Neck T-Shirts for men are priced at ₱290, reduced from ₱390. Women can also enjoy savings on Ultra Stretch Cropped Leggings Pants, now offered at ₱990 from the original ₱1,290. Adding a festive touch, the localized Mickey & Friends Collection is priced at ₱590 for adults and ₱390 for kids. Featuring designs inspired by Manila, Davao, Siargao, Cebu, and La Union, this special edition celebrates the beauty of the Philippines through playful, location-themed art that captures the spirit of each destination.

From January 16 to 18, customers who make a minimum ₱3,000 single-receipt purchase at any UNIQLO Cebu store and scan their UNIQLO App at checkout will receive a free UNIQLO luggage tag. Early birds will also be rewarded: the first 100 customers will receive a free plain croissant and a ₱200 discount gift card from The Abaca Group, no purchase required.

UNIQLO App members can also join the App Scan Raffle by making any single-receipt purchase during the same period. Prizes include a free overnight stay for two at The Reef Island Resort Mactan’s Deluxe Room, a ₱2,000 Maya E-Gift Certificate, or a weekend brunch for two at Abaca Baking Company – All Day Dining (Citadines Cebu).

These anniversary offers and Sinulog specials are available at UNIQLO’s Cebu branches: Ayala Center Cebu, Ayala Malls Central Bloc, SM City Cebu, SM Seaside City Cebu, and SM City J Mall.

LifeWear with Heart: Supporting Filipino Families

UNIQLO continues to live out its philosophy of LifeWear with Heart by supporting Filipino families through its RE.UNIQLO initiative. The year 2025 brought challenges for many Cebuanos, who faced the impact of multiple calamities. UNIQLO responded with a series of relief efforts: in September, 4,000 AIRism items were distributed to affected communities in Bogo City, in partnership with SM Foundation, along with hygiene kits for over 800 individuals. An additional 5,500 AIRism items were donated to families impacted by Super Typhoon Uwan and Typhoon Tino across Cebu, Bacolod, and Aurora. The brand also extended support to its 300 Cebu-based employees and their families who were affected by the disasters. In December, another 4,000 pieces of AIRism and pre-loved LifeWear items from the RE.UNIQLO initiative were donated to over 500 beneficiaries in Talisay.
