Doulos Hope Floating Bookfair Comes to Cebu

Doulos Hope, an international floating bookfair, is making its way to Cebu. In collaboration with Cebu City Hall, this unique event aims to share knowledge, help, and hope with the community.

Visitors will have access to a diverse selection of over 2,000 book titles at affordable prices, covering a wide range of topics such as science, medicine, arts, languages, faith, hobbies, cooking, and sports. With options for children’s literature, academic texts, dictionaries, atlases, and more, the bookfair promises something for the whole family to enjoy.

Doulos Hope will be open to the public at the Port of Cebu, Pier 5, from October 15 to November 10, 2024. Operating hours are from Tuesday through Sunday, 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM (last entry at 8:00 PM), and the bookfair will be closed on Mondays.

Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult and require their own tickets. Children under 12 and seniors are free, but they still need to have a ticket booked. For everyone else, the entrance fee is PHP 50 (cash only) and will be collected at the entrance to the bookfair. (MCN)
