Cebu Grads Top Physician Licensure Exam
Two graduates from Cebu filled the first and seventh places respectively in the recently released results of the Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) held early this month.
Blake Warren Coloma of Cebu Institute of Medicine bagged the first place with his 89.42 percent rating; while another CIM graduate Alvin Christian Caminade Borbon made it to 7th place with his 88.17%.
University of the Philippines-Manila’s Daniel Yenko Guevara and Abdelsimar Tan Omar II, meanwhile, shared the second highest ranking with their 88.75%. The third top spot was clinched by Ruth Divine Daguro Agustin of Ateneo De Manila University School of Medicine and Public Health-Pasig (88.67), and the fourth place went to University of Santo Tomas’s Timothy Lee Tang Less Say (88.50).
Abegail Chan Ceralde of De La Salle University-Health Sciences Institute and University of East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center’s Co-Neil Rebanal were both top 5 at 88.33%.
Jason Sta. Ana Arboleda of UP-Manila and Donn Rommel Marcelo Bernabe of University of Santo Tomas came as sixth and seventh places, respectively.
Karen Joyce Go Chua of UP-Manila and Pamela Marie Blanco Imperial of ADMU-School of Medicine and Public Health-Pasig came in as top 8 and 9, respectively. UP-Manila’s Paul Anthony Orgencia Alad came in as the top 10.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), in its website, said that 1,834 out of 2,211 passed the exams given by the Board of Medicine in the cities of Manila, Cebu and Davao this month.
