Renowned Young Filipina Entrepreneur and Animal Lover: Georgianna Carlos
Georgianna Carlos, also goes by the nickname “George”, is a Filipina entrepreneur who hails from Manila, Philippines. She is a Psychology graduate but became an entrepreneur along the run with her first business, Fetch! Naturals, which launched in 2016.
As a passionate animal lover, Georgianna Carlos made it her mission to find a solution for treatment for her pet dog’s skin issues. While going over this, an idea bloomed in her head when she used a shampoo from Europe on her dog in which the dog didn’t react negatively to it. Looking at the bottle of shampoo, she found Neem Oil listed as an active ingredient and did her research on what Neem is. Since then, Georgianna’s new mission went from finding a treatment for her pet to wanting to provide better pet care items for animals.
The young “petpreneur” didn’t limit her efforts to developing a single Neem plant-based product. Instead, she created an all-encompassing pet care system with a line of products that will maximize the extracts and provide better and proper all-around pet care.
Georgianna also shared that they worked hard to obtain the FDA, BAI, and DOST registrations and certifications for their products. Therefore, when they say “safe for human use,” they actually mean it and they have these documents to support these statements.
Since then, the business has established two retail spaces in Manila and Los Angeles, and its products are now available in over 30 locations around the Philippines.
Georgianna is one of the four Filipinos who were named in Forbes Asia’s 2019 “30 Under 30” list for her company, which sells basic pet care products that are beneficial to animals, people, and the environment. And last 2021, she was one of the winners of the first-ever Lazada Forward Women Awards for her own brand, Fetch! Naturals.
The young entrepreneur didn’t just stop with Fetch! Naturals. She also runs other two businesses: MyOffice Philippines, a virtual office for portable specialists, and Permitly PH, an online solution that helps entrepreneurs to register their companies in the Philippines.
