7-Eleven Opens Its 1,500th ATM Machine in Cebu
7-Eleven has installed its 1,500th ATM at the Casa Mira, Cebu City branch, providing a safe and accessible ATM service for Cebuanos.
Pito AxM Platform, Inc. (PAPI) and 7-Eleven’s exclusive licensor, Philippine Seven Corporation (PSC), plan to open 150 ATMs in Cebu operational by June.
“We have aggressively expanded the 7-Bank ATM network in Metro Manila and Luzon during the pandemic. This 2022, we reach another milestone as we set foot in Cebu, signaling our further expansion of ATMs in Visayas and Mindanao,” said Jose Victor Paterno, President and CEO of PSC.
Masanori Sakaguchi, President of PAPI, said that they are planning to open more ATMs in Visayas and Mindanao.
“We are very happy to serve our precious customers in the Visayas, and the ones in Mindanao very soon. We hope everybody appreciates our sophisticated ATM services imported from Japan,” Sakaguchi said.
PSC and PAPI plan to deploy 1,500 additional ATMs nationwide by the end of the year — covering most of their 3,100 7-Eleven stores.
PAPI also announced Landbank cardholders will soon enjoy free transaction fees on 7-Eleven ATMs starting May 23.
Aside from Landbank, PAPI also partners up with BDO in providing free cash withdrawals for their cardholders.
Meanwhile, other bank cardholders will have a P10 transaction fee through BancNet.
Moreover, more partner banks will be announced soon. (ASC)
