Department of Health 7 (DOH 7) plans to launch a 3-day house-to-house vaccination to ramp up the vaccination efforts for the remaining citizens, especially senior citizens who are still unvaccinated in Cebu.

DOH 7 Regional Director Jaime Bernadas said that the 3-day house-to-house would help strengthen the vaccination efforts in the region.

Despite the decrease in COVID-19 cases in the region, some areas in Cebu province are still behind their vaccination efforts, which the house-to-house vaccination aims to improve on.

As of writing, Central Visayas has already vaccinated 62.8 percent of the eligible population.

Meanwhile, Cebu City and Siquijor are under Alert Level 1 until March 31. (ASC)
