Mactan Airport to Hold 3-Day Vax Drive

GMR MEGAWIDE Cebu Airport Corporation partners with the Department of Health (DOH) and the Lapu-Lapu City Government to hold a three-day COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination drive from March 9 to 11, 2022 where unvaccinated travelers may get inoculated.

The vaccination drive is being held at the Terminal 1 Departures Grand Lobby of Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA), from 8 AM to 5 AM.

MCIA is urging the unvaccinated public who will travel through the airport to get vaccinated.

The vaccination drive will accommodate first doses, second doses, and booster shots with the condition that the individual be vaccinated with the second shot three months prior.

Minors aging from 12-17 are also urged to get inoculated.

MCIA said in a statement that they are in full support of the national and local vaccination programs.

“The whole MCIA community has been very supportive to the vaccination program of both the National and Local Governments, as we also see this as a major driver for the continued recovery of the aviation industry,” the statement said. (GFB)
