Talisay City Gov’t Loans Gen Sets to Water Refilling Stations

Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas Jr. announced that the city government has loaned out generator sets to water refilling stations around the city to provide drinking water to the public.

The local government now has loaned out generator sets to three water refilling stations–namely:

Dexnaty Refilling Station located in Barangay Cansojong
Open from 7pm to 12 noon
Closed from 12:01pm until 2pm
Open again from 2pm to 7pm

Aqua City in Barangay Poblacion
Open from 6am to 12 noon
Closed from 12 noon until 1pm
Open again from 1pm to 7pm

Aqua Real Purified Water in Barangay Pooc
Open from 5am to 11am
Closed from 11pm until 1:30pm
Open again from 1:30pm to 6pm

The Talisay City government and the water refilling stations reached an agreement to only ration 2 gallons of water per person so that more are able to have potable water, according to Mayor Samsam.

Moreover, an agreement was also reached to cap the price of water at Php30 per gallon.

Mayor Samsam said that more generator sets will be made available to water refilling stations that are located in strategic areas across Talisay City.

Gullas Jr. further added that the city is expecting six more generator sets to arrive on December 23, and hoped that more water refilling stations be opened immediately. (GFB)
