#OdettePH MCN Typhoon Watch

As Typhoon Odette continues to draw near mainland Cebu, different malls from Cebu City announce plans to keep parts of their malls open and provide basic needs to customers and nearby residents of their malls.

Major Malls in Cebu such as SM Seaside City, Ayala Center Cebu, and Robinsons Galleria announced in separate advisories made on their respective social media channels that overnight parking fees will be waived, charging stations will be provided, and WIFI connection will be available in their respective malls.

Moreover, the malls announced that the public may temporarily seek shelter inside the malls during extreme weather and flooding or while waiting for the typhoons to pass by Cebu.

SM Seaside City also announced that a help desk will be available to those seeking temporary shelter.

This comes as #OdettePH has just recently made its third landfall, this time on on Panaon Island in Southern Leyte.

A large part of Cebu Province has been placed on Signal No. 4., while 1,893 families are now in evacuation centers in Lapu-Lapu City, while Talisay City implemented forced evacuations to avoid casualties. (GFB)
