Vax At Home for Cebu City for PWDs and Seniors Planned

The Cebu City government plans to innoculate persons with disabilities (PWDs) and senior citizens at their own homes that are also eligible for financial assistance.

This comes as the city plans to launch the “Vaccination at Your Home” program for seniors and PWDs in the city for them to receive the COVID-19 vaccine before the start of the distribution of their financial assistance.

The city also plans to install more pop-up vaccination sites for PWDs and senior citizens who could not go out and go to vaccination sites.

Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama said that the city would prioritize fully-vaccinated and partially vaccinated PWDs and senior citizens for the distribution of their cash assistance.

Rama assured that everyone would receive their financial assistance. However, fully-vaccinated PWDs and seniors will be the first to receive their cash assistance, followed by the partially vaccinated.

The start of the financial distribution for PWDs will start on December 11, while the start of the distribution for senior citizens will start on December 18. (ASC)
