The Department of Trade and Industry lauded Cebu Pacific for its support as the company offered free transport for the department relief packs.

This comes as Cebu Pacific sponsored the transport of 10,000 relief packs or family food packs (FFPs) bound for Caticlan from Manila last October 10 to October 21.

In a press release, DWSD Secretary Rolando Bautista thanked Cebu Pacific for their generosity and support for the cause of the department.

“…grateful to Cebu Pacific’s generosity and continuous support to the Department’s relief operations. This will greatly help the DSWD to efficiently and immediately provide our kababayan (compatriots) with the assistance that they need especially amid these uncertain times,” said Bautista.

The relief goods worth over P6.3 million were by the airline company free of charge. (ASC)
