Bar Examinations Rescheduled
The Supreme Court of the Philippines (SC) has rescheduled this year’s bar exams to assure the security and health of bar examinees.
According to Bar Bulletin No. 28 released in September 28, the SC rescheduled the bar examinations from the initial date of November to January 16, 23, 30, and February 6, 2022.
“After considering the COVID-19 situation nationally and in all testing sites, as well as receiving advice from various experts, the Supreme Court, after recommendation by the Bar Chairperson, with an abundance of caution and to assure the highest level of safety for all the bar applicants and personnel, decided to reset the Bar Examinations from November 2021 to January 16, 23, 30, and February 6, 2022,” the bulletin read.
Even though the examinations were rescheduled, the applications for the bar examination will not be reopened.
Moreover, preparatory activities for the bar examinations, such as the selection of the bar applicants of their venue, downloading of the secure exam delivery program, and other activities will still continue. (ASC)
