100k Recovered from COVID-19 in CV

Central Visayas has reached 100,000 recoveries from COVID-19, according to the Department of Health 7 (DOH 7) case bulletin #449 released yesterday, September 10.

As of September 10, the region has tallied 660 new recoveries increasing the total recoveries to 104,969.

Out of the total new recoveries, Cebu City has recorded 144, Mandaue City recorded 150, Lapu-Lapu City recorded 41, Cebu Province recorded 303, Bohol recorded 2, Negros Oriental recorded 0, and Siquijor recorded 20.

Meanwhile, Central Visayas also reported 729 new cases (124,141 total cases). Out of the total, Cebu City recorded 123 new COVID-19, 55 new cases in Mandaue City, 46 new cases in Lapu-Lapu City, 136 new cases in Cebu Province, 247 new cases in Bohol, 121 new cases in Negros Oriental, and 1 new case in Siquijor.

The region also recorded 36 new deaths, 4,142 in total (Cebu City 3 deaths, Lapu-Lapu City 1 death, Mandaue City 6 deaths, Cebu Province 26 deaths, Bohol 0 death, Negros Oriental 0 death, and Siquijor 0 death).

As of September 10, the total COVID-19 cases in Central Visayas is now 124,141.(ASC)
