TS Dante Slightly Weakens, Signal #1 in Cebu

Tropical Storm (TS) Dante weakens as it traverses Eastern Samar on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, while areas in Cebu are on Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) Number 1.

As of 4:00 PM, TS Dante was last spotted around Guiuan, Eastern Samar, or 110 km East Southeast of Borongan City, Eastern Samar moving 25 kilometers per hour (kph) in the North Northwestward direction.

TS Dante has maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center, gustiness up to 80 kph with Gale-force winds extend outward up to 100 km from the center.
