170 Businesses Now Allowed to Sell Liquors in Cebu City

Published

on

170 bars and related businesses are now allowed to sell liquor in Cebu City after a week of lifting the liquor ban in Cebu City.

Even though the liquor ban is lifted, business establishments are still required to secure a “SPECIAL PERMIT TO SERVE LIQUORS” to be allowed to sell liquors to patrons.

Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella said that out of the 170 establishments that were granted a special permit one establishment is under investigation for violating social distancing protocols.

Establishments that are securing their special permit should have a Health Infection Prevention and Control Officer (HIPCO) that will be trained by the city.

After training, Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) will then inspect the establishments before they are given the special permit. (ASC)
