Cebu City to Commemorate 84th Charter Day Virtually

Cebu City will commemorate her 84th Charter Day on February 24, 2021 with the theme “Interwoven by faith; strengthen by unity; celebrating the Cebuano resiliency”, will hold various activities virtually amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Activities for the charter day include performances by renowned Cebuano artists, and the recognition of individuals who have greatly helped in the continuous fight against COVID-19.

Cebu City Mayor Edgar Labella will also highlight developments in the City of Cebu.

The charter day activities will be available to watch via the Facebook page of the Public Information Office of the Cebu City Government.

the city government tapped different artists from Cebu that garnered local and national fame, as artists slated to perform virtually in the charter day include:

• Jacky Chang
• Kurt Fick
• Morisette Amon, and
• Urbandub.

Performances will start at 6:00 PM on February 24. (GFB)
