Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) continues their campaign on illegal night parking as violators’ vehicles have been clamped.

82 vehicles that were illegally parked were clamped by the CCTO on February 10 along the areas of Escario-Capitol, Clavano, Back street Juana Osmena Ext.-Purok 8, Guadalupe-Cabajar, Quijada, Modesta, Monterasas, Banawa Virginia, Lomboy st., Calamba-V.rama, Quijano Compound, Labangon-A.lopez, Manggahan, Balaga Drive Sambag 1-Katangkungan, Asuncion, Alcantara, Sambag 2-Tambis, and Urgello.

As operations on illegal night parking continue, CCTO has gradually noticed that less vehicles are night parking illegally.

Illegal night parking has been a continuous problem for the city as more people now have the capacity to buy cars, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Illegal parking also contributes to heavy traffic in Cebu City, something that CCTO hopes to alleviate through their continuous operations. (GFB)
