Car Sales Plunges by 23%
According to the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI), vehicles sales dropped by 23% in the month of September this year, from 31,820 units sold last year, to only 24,523 this year.
During a nine-month duration, 148,012 units have been sold, 44% lesser than last year’s 267,364 units.
CAMPI however, remains optimistic despite the challenges they are currently facing, saying that a great progress will soon be on their reach since a 37% sales increase have been recorded comparing August and September. (MLC)
