SSS Offers a New Look for Its Web Portal
The Social Security System (SSS) recently showcased the colorful and vibrant design of its member portal, My.SSS, which offers an easy and more accessible web experience for its members and stakeholders.
SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Aurora Ignacio said that the new look of My.SSS provides members with a more user-friendly interface. Its modern design makes it easier to browse and navigate through the SSS member portal and offer a better user experience.
“Despite its new design, My.SSS retains the important features found in the old design. Members must not worry that it will take time to learn how to navigate the portal. The process of checking their contributions and membership records or making online transactions remains the same,” Ignacio explained.
Ignacio said that members who registered at My.SSS can now once again access the web portal since the application and data correction for the Small Business Wage Subsidy (SBWS) program is already completed. For more than a month, the SSS website was solely dedicated to catering to the applications of qualified small business owners for the government’s wage subsidy program.
Through My.SSS, members can process the following transactions:
- Check their contribution records
- Update their contact details
- Generate Payment Reference Number (PRN)/Statement of Account (SOA)
- Pay their contribution using Moneygment
- File salary loan application
- Submit maternity notification
- File retirement claim application
- Schedule of branch appointment
- Location of SSS branches
- Request for their SSS record
“We are shifting our core and business processes to further improve our services to SSS members. In the coming months, other benefit claim applications such as the unemployment benefit will also be made available online as well as other programs like the Pension Loan Program (PLP). We are committing ourselves in fast-tracking the digital transformation of SSS in the coming years,” Ignacio concluded.
Ignacio urged members to register at the SSS website and create their My.SSS account so they can benefit from the online services on the web portal.
