3 New Malasakit Centers Open in Cebu

3 new Malasakit Centers in Talisay City District Hospital, St. Anthony Mother and Child Hospital (Cebu City) and Lapu-Lapu City District Hospital were opened to the public and started operations on Friday, March 6.

The 3 mentioned Malasakit Centers are an addition to the 2 prior existing Malasakit Centers in Cebu, which are located in Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City and Eversley Child’s Sanitarium in Jagobiao, Mandaue City.

There are now a total of 5 Malasakit Centers in Cebu up to date.

The said opening was attended by Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony Gullas, Cebu City Mayor Edgar Labella, Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes, Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Ahong Chan, DOH-7 Regional Director Dr. Jaime Bernadas, hospital officials and other public officials.

Meanwhile, 4 Malasakit Centers are yet to be opened in Cebu soon. Mentioned places were Bogo City, Danao City, Carcar City, and Balambam. (MLC)
