Suba Fire Razes 259 Houses
It was an unfortunate way to end the month of February for the residents of Sitio Sto. Niño, Barangay Suba, Cebu City as a fire razed 259 houses at the said place and left 603 families homeless.
The Bureau of Fire Protection received the fire alarm around 7:15 p.m. and was immediately raised to task force bravo at 8 p.m.
Authorities declared the fire incident to be under control at 8:53 p.m.
Based on the initial investigation, the fire started on the house of a certain married couple.
P1.5 million was the estimated worth of damage.
However, there are still no injuries or casualties reported. (MLC)
