Talisay City Police Station Gets Award

The Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) awarded the Talisay City Police Station as the Best Performing City Police Station in the whole province of Cebu.

The Certificate of Appreciation commends Talisay City Police Station for apprehending 8 persons through the service of Warrants of Arrests, initiating the surrender of 16 loose firearms through “Oplan Katok”, apprehending 31 persons for violation of illegal drugs and confiscation of 51.66 grams of illegal drugs with DDB value of Php351, 288.00 through Anti-Illegal Drug Operations conducted on October 28-31, 2019.

The certificate was signed by CPPO Regional Director Police Colonel Roderick Mariano.

Talisay City Police Station Chief Police Major Gerard Ace Pelare received the said award.

Pelare expressed his joy and gratitude to everyone who contributed to make this possible.

Major Pelare is the new Chief Of Police of the Talisay City Police Station after he was assigned in the Municipality of Consolacion for quite some time. (MLC)
